This next artist's gallery is absolutely mindblowing. His style is unique and unbelievably expressive. A lot of his paintings are very similar, yet at the same time completely different. ~Micko-vic is a real source of inspiration.

It's a shame that such amazing artists go by unnoticed, while a clumsy sketch of some Pokemon character gains thousands of views each day.

Yeah. It makes me mad! Well not so much nowadays, cause I haven't been really active lately, but I still think it's not fair for those who actually have ART to show to the world.

I had a period on my old account when I started doing "mainstream" works like that, which gave me a LOT of views, but I realized there was no point in that, because I would only attract the wrong audience.

Sad, sad situation.

When I started here on Deviantart, I thought it was a site for artists. Later I found out that it is mostly pokemon fans who upload images

But if you look carefully you will find someone who makes serious art.
They're here somewhere ...

Yeah, actually I was doing these one week features back when I had a subscription, and I featured him right before my subscription expired, and I haven't written any new journal entry after that, so the feature remained ever since.. so the "one week" kinda lasted for alsmost a year now
