I like the contrast in this. Careful about the cracks in the corner of the mouth though, the shadows there are darker than everywhere else so it almost looks like those could be dead vines instead of cracks.

I really like that the blackness in his eyes/mouth has a gradation to it and isn't a solid black. That was a very artistic choice

the gradiants and shading needs more strength, on the corners / lines to make the relief / bumps / rocks more alive and get out of the picture.
